Sea Anemones Completed

I believe this piece is one of my most successful!  There was something about the calm I felt making it, the colors I chose, the pattern of the beads…but I really enjoyed the creative process.

I altered my usual process this time by painting in the anemones but leaving the background white until the end.  I wasn’t sure what color to use for the background.  I’m glad I waited, because it just called out for a darker background after I finished it.

I mentioned in my earlier post that I used a photo I found online to inspire the design, but I simplified the shapes.  Here is a few photos to show the process.
